About Jodie
My work with students is grounded in both experience and education, including an MBA and UCLA’s post-master's certificate in College Counseling. To stay current, I engage in ongoing professional development through conferences, industry reading, and frequent campus visits. This continued growth is supported by my membership in the Independent Educational Consultants Association, which aligns with my commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in college counseling.
Over the years, I have guided students from a broad range of backgrounds and academic levels, helping them plan their coursework, develop meaningful extracurricular activities, and craft compelling application essays. My approach is personalized, empowering students to present their best selves and gain admission to colleges that are the right fit, whether large public research universities or highly selective private schools.
Outside my work with students, I enjoy hiking, reading, and exploring new places with my husband. While our children are grown, navigating their college journey gave me a parent’s perspective, deepening my understanding and compassion when working with students and their families.
I look forward to learning about your student and supporting their path to college. Feel free to reach out. I’m here to help!
